Welcome to the Falls Village Town Plan update home page. Here you will find all the information on where we are in the Plan update process and how you can participate. We look forward to hearing from you about how you envision the future of our town.
Purpose of Town Plan Update
The purpose of a Town Plan update process is to develop a shared vision of the future of the town over the next ten year period, including all Falls Village residents. What do we want Falls Village to look like in 2020?
The final Town Plan document is used as a tool for town decision makers to make that vision a reality. It covers critical issues like housing opportunity, conservation, village center commercial growth, and town services.
NEWS
- On June 27th we held a Town Plan Update focus group session on Encouraging Age & Housing Diversity. Representatives of Falls Village's Planning & Zoning Commission, Board of Selectmen, Conservation Commission, volunteer emergency services, and other interested citizens met to eat pie and discuss specific strategies the town could take to meet the housing needs of young families, emergency service volunteers, and seniors.
